HD in Interior Design

Interior designers work to create harmonious, practical and aesthetically pleasing environments and living spaces. This programme enables students to understand how historical, social, cultural, economic and technical considerations contribute to make good designs and help students to put theories into practice. The students will learn how to research, develop, and present creative ideas and concepts through individual and team projects, which will in turn help them equip with professional and technical design skills. The programme provides internship opportunities, industrial projects, and seminars organised by renowned design professionals, through which students will understand industry requirements and acquire valuable practical experience. Graduates will have confidence, technical competence, presentation skills, and project management skills to work in professional design studios. Designed with an emphasis on generic, language and communication training, whole-person development, and workplace experience, this programme aims at better preparing students for further studies and employment after graduation.
