Social Phobia
Time allocation is important
PROJECT BACKGROUND
Social phobia is a sentiment of fear and anxiety in social situations, causing considerable distress and impaired ability to function in at least some aspects of daily life. These fears can be triggered by perceived or actual scrutiny from others.
This can include the fear of being the focus of attention, or fear of behaving in a way that will be embarrassing or humiliating, thus causing avoidance and anxiety symptoms.
When people think of social anxiety, the first impression will be a bit negative, but what we want to bring out is its positive side. The feeling of actively keeping a distance from other people is just like having your own safe and comfortable space.
PROJECT CONCEPT
My design is divided into two parts. The outer cloak is printed with a face and surrounded by threads to store myself. The threads also protect my own existence, and the wrapped wig suspender dress also helps to express my soft inner self and the cozy vibe that comes with being alone. Since people with social disabilities often need more personal space than anything, wrapping oneself up and providing distance is a good idea.
In order to create a positive feeling, I chose white as the main thematic l colour, and when designing makeup, I chose to apply curves as the focus so as to bring out the idea that human relationships are as flexible and adaptable as curves. .
