Crisscross Pavilion
PROJECT BACKGROUND
This project focuses on designing a temporary timber pavilion on the HKDI campus to provide a gathering space for students. The key insights from the research include the lack of comfortable gathering spaces on the campus and the importance of flexibility and adjustability in the design. Traditional construction methods and woodworking joints were also used to ensure stability and durability.
