PROJECT BACKGROUND
Everything in the world, regardless of its shape and size, is constantly changing. All things are beautiful because they are alive, and everything that is full of vitality will disappear with the passage of time. While we marvel at the beauty of life, we also lament the sadness of life coming to an end. These complex emotions are exactly how we feel about the emotional connections between our lives. And this kind of feeling is not limited to inner lamentation and sadness, but also a kind of longing, or a kind of sincere generosity.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The costume design inspiration comes from the Japanese priest robe, with collar referencing the cover of Björk's 1997 album. The outer layer of the garment is designed to resemble clouds made of black diving cotton, while red embroidered cloth flowers served as embellishments on the black clouds. In terms of hair, the inspiration came from the growth of trees, where a single root branches have many smaller ones.
For the makeup, the focus is mainly the eyes, hoping to bring out the lines of the flowers and the mood of sadness.
Regarding colors, the theme is about life and blood. Mainly dark red and black were used to create a feeling of loneliness.
