PROJECT BACKGROUND
When individuals feel lonely, social interaction and positive relationships can help reduce the negative feelings. Research has shown that young people between the ages of 18 and 25 are particularly susceptible to loneliness. Therefore, this project aims to create an innovative application that provides a platform for individuals to connect and support each other by sharing their experiences of loneliness. By fostering a community of like-minded individuals, the application seeks to create a safe space for users to find comfort and encouragement during difficult times. Additionally, this project is in collaboration with "Shall We Talk".
PROJECT CONCEPT
The design concept of the app is to combine the warmth and camaraderie of a campfire with the brand name 'Campmates'. The overall atmosphere is intended to convey a cozy and gentle feeling to the users, as if they are gathered under the stars at a campfire. Elements found in the app are all related to campfires, such as roasting marshmallows. The app's unique feature is that users can discover their friends' shared emotions under the starry sky, and then write encouraging words together on a wooden board, allowing the power of sharing loneliness to inspire one another. The project's target audience is for those young people who are aged between 18 and25. Promotional materials such as posters, leaflets, and Instagram posts will also be used to spread the words.
