Background
According to Norse mythology , the earliest goblins and dwarves were believed to have been born from the body of the primordial giant Ymir. When the gods killed Ymir and dismembered his body, some of the body's fragments and bones formed the underground rocks and minerals, thus creating the homes of goblins and dwarves.
CONCEPT
In my design project, I have transformed the characters based on this story. The dwarves are portrayed as creatures that originated from the crawlers that emerged from Ymir’s deceased body. These crawlers are depicted as unusually enormous and adorable, while the goblins are portrayed as quirky fantasy creatures. They reside in the forest, and the goblins surprise the viewer by emerging from inside the crawlers.
