A musical production of “A Week Away"
I want to use this musical to spread a message to teenagers not to give up their lives and find something meaningful in this world.
Background
This project aims to design a captivating musical production based on my favorite movie, "A Week Away" to convey a message to teenagers about discovering their path in the world and providing them with support in their lives. My hope is to inspire them to be courageous and resilient as they navigate life's challenges.
CONCEPT
This musical production aims to impart the message to teenagers: ' Embrace your unique path,, believe in yourself, and follow your heart.' To convey this, I will incorporate stairs as a symbolic representation, emphasizing the idea of forging your own journey instead of conforming to others. Also, LED monitors embedded on the stairs will show different backgrounds that align with different scenes.
