Circulatory Ground, Respiratory Roof
創作背景
This project reimagines an elderly community centre as a living, breathing rhythm machine that reconnects aging bodies with nature, time, and each other. Through a spatial sequence of awakening, flowing, and relaxing zones, the architecture guides unconscious movement and emotional engagement. Located in To Kwa Wan, the design integrates therapeutic landscapes, sensory light wells, and an accessible green roof. Three layered zones—healing basement, communal core, and agricultural rooftop—mirror bodily and environmental rhythms. Natural elements like aquaponics, reflective pools, and plant cycles co-create a metabolic architecture that nurtures solitude, connection, and intergenerational harmony—not a facility, but a vessel for life.
