Camouflage Face
Enhancing understanding of diverse personalities, bridging interpersonal gaps, and elevating cultural literacy.
Background
The Seven Deadly Sins categorize human vices and immoral behaviors, while the seven virtues embody noble ideals. Peking Opera masks vividly reflect character traits, representing the dichotomy of beauty and ugliness. This project seeks to merge the seven deadly sins with the seven virtues, creating new masks that foster a balanced understanding of human nature.
CONCEPT
The design concept draws inspiration from human nature, integrating the seven deadly sins with traditional Chinese masks. Utilizing Western mythology presented in a double-page format, we reimagine mask patterns. These vivid designs guide audiences in understanding the seven deadly sins and seven virtues, emphasizing that human nature is not defined by absolute right or wrong. Additionally, the red envelope design extends from the mask patterns, crafted from glittering material to symbolize the brilliance of humanity. Users can also engage in online assessments to gain deeper insights into their personality traits, fostering self-acceptance.
