Women’s Charms

Background

Final Year Project

This Final Year Project shows a critique on societal definitions of women: marriage binds them to domestic roles and reduces their worth to objectification. Challenging tradition, I propose marriage without grooms as a radical reimagining of gender roles—where relationships transcend patriarchal frameworks and female autonomy becomes the foundation of intimate partnerships.

CONCEPT

My designs sculpt the female form with precision—fluid lines contour the body while structured layers empower the shoulders. Each stitch embodies confidence and every cut radiates defiance. Denim injects raw edge, transforming coolness into strength. Its rugged texture echoes untamed confidence, forging a narrative where toughness and elegance unite in bold harmony.
