Visitors to Nantou often find it difficult to navigate due to scattered and inconsistent information. The complexity of the site—shaped by layered histories, a dense spatial layout, and diverse stakeholders—makes it challenging to implement long-term wayfinding solutions.

As a short-term strategy, we introduced an interactive, large-scale “Monopoly” game experience during themed events. This playful installation simplifies navigation within the visually complex environment by transforming the city into a life-sized board game. Key historical landmarks are integrated into the gameplay, helping visitors orient themselves more easily while learning about the site’s rich heritage.
