True Face
Background
The life of the Protagonist as a quiet middle-schooler is marked by constant anxiety: Every day, he needs to fix his asymmetrical face before going to school. It seems normal to him, but he always not understand why the other one not doing the same, he was very confused by the distorted face of others, thus , he never greets the 'right' people, seems to 'forget' friends, and is labelled rude or aloof.
One day, he ran back to school because he was late, but the strange faces looking at him made him very scared. This also attracted the attention of his classmate sitting next to him.
After school, they met again and caused problems - they were classmates sitting next to each other, but they didn't seem to know each other. The protagonist then found out that he had prosopagnosia. The discovery of the truth horrified him. The world in his eyes suddenly became distorted and he was trapped in a surreal space with no way to escape.
Fortunately, his classmates rescued him and suggested ways to solve the difficulties he faced together, which warmed his heart.
Although he may never know their true face, he knows that he has gained a group of best friend forever.
