In Search of Me

Background

Final Year Project

This project explores the conflict between self-identity and societal expectations. Through scanography and distorted visuals, it reflects the confusion, self-doubt, and emotional layers we internalise. It challenges how much of ourselves we truly show, or even know, when we live under social media’s influence with the desire to be understood.

CONCEPT

This fashion project employs scanography to create distorted, layered visuals representing fragmented identity. The deliverables include experimental garments and visual imagery. Aiming at young individuals facing identity struggles in a hyper-connected world, it invites viewers to reflect on authenticity, self-acceptance, and the quiet complexities beneath the surface.
