Final Year Project

“Decade” is a fashion collection inspired by my experiences from my past ten years. This series is like a documentary, and serves as my present reflection on the past. At the same time, I break the dimensional wall to materialise the past and the virtual world, piecing together ten years of growth and transformation. I confront the label imposed on me by the outside world and the constraints that come with, longing for a sense of identity.

I use optical illusion to express the interplay between the real world and the virtual world, recording my return from the virtual realm to reality.  

Vivienne Westwood's punk spirit- The rebellious and uncompromising attitude- has always been central to my mindset.  

I have extracted representative elements from the past to interpret the evolution of my mindset. While I rebel and pursue self-expression, I also embrace the idea that facing failure is a part of success.
