Ruffles are the central element of my design, symbolizing the concept of a “cycle” within the theme of Cocoon Zero. I envision the ruffles transitioning from short to long, with gradient colors to reflect growth and transformation.

Crystallization, which evolves over time, reminds me of life’s challenges. To capture the moment of breaking free from the cocoon—a burst of light and a sense of rebirth—I plan to use alum to create a shimmering, crystal-like texture.​

The corset represents the most primitive stage of Cocoon Zero—the larval form—which also symbolizes a time when human thoughts are at their purest. Through this piece, I aim to express the beauty of vulnerability, transformation, and the cyclical nature of growth.
