Decompression Centre
PROJECT BACKGROUND
The design of the decompression centre combines existing architecture, natural surroundings and contemporary style. It helps to provide indirect psychological counselling to the users by transforming a traditional building.
The characteristic red brick walls and the traditional triangular roof have been retained, while incorporating a modern architectural style. The design divides the space into 3 main zones, allowing the user to choose various activities according to their state and mood.
The middle courtyard of the building is a pond and the 'water' is the main element that connects the different spaces.
