A new supermarket system focuses on waste reduction.
Background
Based on Hong Kong’s garbage levy policy, everyone realizes that the world is shifting towards waste reduction. With this in mind, this project aims to address waste reduction at its source by introducing a new supermarket system that makes shopping environmentally friendly at the same time.
CONCEPT
This is a new supermarket system designed specifically for waste reduction. The system includes refill machines, reusable bottles, and mobile applications. These three components collaborate to create a user-friendly system aimed at reducing plastic waste generation and increasing recycling rates.
