The Hong Kong Government will implement municipal solid waste charging in August 2024, with the goal of influencing citizens' behavior and promoting recycling. However, due to frequent policy changes and evolving measures, there remains confusion among the public regarding waste sorting and recycling practices. The project aims to effectively convey concise and memorable messages to households, emphasizing the necessity for behavior change. Through research on the optimal use of an advertising jingle, lyrics, and visual character design, the dos and don'ts of waste management can hopefully be expressed in the most impactful and memorable manner.
CONCEPT
By creating a jingle accompanied by catchy lyrics and captivating visual character design, clear instructions on how to properly sort and recycle waste can be conveyed in a streamlined and memorable way.
