In the mythos, she is a young, beautiful, and mysterious goddess. Her name originates from the ancient Norse language, carrying the connotations of "renewal" and "restoration."Her image is often depicted with long golden hair, symbolizing sunshine and vitality.. Her bright eyes signify wisdom and warmth, while her vibrant countenance represents the life force within her, establishing her as a prominent figure in Norse Mythology.
CONCEPT
My designs will combine traditional Scandinavian stories with modern fashion to create unique and mysterious clothing styles. The attire will convey Idun's strength, intelligence, and deep connection to nature, presenting her with a breathtaking new image. I believe Idun's apple carries Idun’s own mysterious power, granting eternal youth to the gods and becoming a key element in Norse mythology. My concept aims to transform withered flowers into vibrant blooms, symbolizing her ability to reverse decay and regain vitality.
