Make It popular
POP art and New Year pictures are already popular culture, but they are only at the east and west ends. I hope that by combining the two cultures, they will become more popular and bring joyful blessings. By blending the vibrant aesthetics of POP art and New Year pictures with the celebratory imagery from both East and West, this project aims to create a unique artistic style that resonates with a wide global audience and spreads joy and positivity.
Background
Combining pop art with New Year pictures not only creates a unique art form which will bring a blessing atmosphere that combines modern and traditional elements, but also makes the culture more popular. Combining the bright colors and creative patterns of Pop Art with the traditional images and symbols of New Year pictures can create vibrant and festive works of art. This type of work draws on the auspicious patterns commonly seen in traditional New Year pictures, and incorporates the fashionable elements of modern art works from Pop Art.
CONCEPT
Fuwa is a Chinese image that represents happiness, luck and good wishes. Pop art is an art form that uses bright colors and flat images to express images. I want to blend the two into one and design it as a fabric pattern for my clothes. For the overall silhouette, I want to use a cute bubble skirt and a shawl top full of fairy tales to express my blessings and hope that the two cultures can become more popular in each other's world.
