Background
The "Chromaflux" train carriages are an innovative project designed to transform train travel into an engaging and interactive experience. The exterior of the cabins resembles colorful, see-through bubbles that immediately capture attention. Stepping inside reveals a vibrant and artfully decorated space, creating a dynamic art gallery within the train. The interior features interactive areas that tantalize the senses and prompt passengers to appreciate the artwork while fostering connections with fellow travelers. By offering communal spaces that promote socializing over digital distractions, the "Chromaflux" train carriages merge art, technology, and community to enhance the journey, making it both memorable and enjoyable. Rather than passively observing the passing landscape, passengers are immersed in captivating visuals and encouraged to engage with others, elevating the travel experience beyond the ordinary and making each trip a unique and significant part of the overall adventure.
CONCEPT
The "Chromaflux" train car is a revolutionary project that transforms train travel into an enchanting experience. With its captivating exterior inspired by bubbles, it instantly grabs attention. Inside, interactive displays and beautiful artwork create a moving gallery, engaging passengers' senses and sparking conversations. Dedicated spaces encourage social interaction, while interactive devices reduce smartphone usage. The "Chromaflux" train car combines art, community, and immersive experiences to redefine the journey and leave a lasting impression on passengers. After the epidemic, I feel that everyone's ability to work has been reduced. I've noticed that a lot of people watch short videos, and watching them all the time can cause a loss of concentration because of the rapidly changing visual and audio stimuli. I realized that it could be linked to cell phone addiction, so why don't we create something that takes people's attention away from their cell phones? In order to diversify people's pastime on the subway, I decided to create a car with interactive design and art installations that would put people in a fantasy world, distracting them from their cell phones and allowing them to enjoy their time in the car instead of using their phones. Target Audience is someone who frequently finds themselves engrossed in their phone, constantly seeking digital stimulation. They spend a significant amount of time scrolling through social media and other distractions, often missing out on real-life moments. In the interactive zone, passengers can sit inside the immersive interactive bubble, which will display different visuals. The orange track can power the movement of the sphere, allowing the passengers to forget that they are inside the cabin.
