BUDDHA MIND ZEN TEMPLE
A modern interpretation of a Buddhist temple
Background
The creation of the new modern religious temple is not to replace the traditional Buddhist temple and culture, but to create a bridge between the modern and the traditional. It is hoped that a new cultural atmosphere and religious experience will be provided to the society.
CONCEPT
The design concept is “wave of water.” In Buddhism, water waves represent impermanence, the ability to wash away distractions, the absence of borders, and the ability to bring tranquillity. This idea of flow and natural connections is brought from traditional temples into a new spatial experience.
