Background
Blythe dolls, which were once popular in Hong Kong during the early 2000s, have since lost their prominence and are now relatively unknown, particularly among young people. Their presence on social media platforms such as Instagram is limited. Our goal is to revitalise Blythe's popularity by establishing an official Instagram account, fostering improved communication, and reintroducing Blythe to a broader audience in Hong Kong.
CONCEPT
Our concept centres around Blythe's developmental history, presenting Blythe as a prominent fashion influencer. Photos and videos showcase Blythe dressed in handmade outfits, capturing the essence of Harajuku and Shibuya styles in various Hong Kong scenic spots. We aim to post three to four times a week on Instagram, alternating between photos and videos, while occasionally sharing IG stories.
