HD in Jewellery Design and Technology
The programme covers jewellery design, technology and management, which provides students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the fields of jewellery design, personal accessories and image product design such as eyewear and timepiece, CAD / CAM technology, gemmology, marketing and retailing. It enables students to develop their potential in the modern principles of jewellery design, craftsmanship, manufacturing technology, and gemmology. Graduates are equipped with comprehensive skills for building their careers in the jewellery, personal accessories and image product design industry. The programme is designed with an emphasis on generic, language and communication training, whole-person development and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.
