HD in Fashion Design
This practical and creative programme is designed to prepare students to work in the fields of fashion design and product development. Apart from learning through fashion shows, live projects, design competitions and an international exchange programme, students will also work with visiting practitioners and organisations from fashion and related industries. While students in the programme will be expected to acquire design concept generation, pattern-making, and fashion product sewing techniques, those in the Knitwear Design and Accessories Design streams will also follow a more comprehensive learning scope with a focus on the market trends. By emphasising generic, language and communication training; whole-person development; and workplace experience, this programme aims at better preparing students for further studies and employment after graduation.
