Thin Wings of Life

PROJECT BACKGROUND

The pearl of mayfly condenses time and praises life.

Life flows, jewelry witnesses. Inspired by the life cycle of mayflies, time is impermanent and life is fragile. A combination of jewelry and the nature conveys admiration and cherishment. The works show the changes of life, the feeling of impermanence and the power of perception. My work presents the harmonious coexistence between nature and human beings, leading us into a world full of vitality and beauty.

PROJECT CONCEPT

The life experience of the mayfly is a lyric poem of the soul. It transforms from a young nymph, blooming endless vitality and beauty. However, this beauty is fleeting, and ultimately the mayfly returns to a silent death. In my design, I use the brilliance of jewelry to convey this fragile and wonderful journey of life, evoking emotions and resonance in the hearts of the audience. By understanding the fragility and impermanence of life, people can seek the sustenance of their soul and the meaning of life within it.
