PROJECT BACKGROUND
Silence is noisy. When you are silent, the voice deep inside your heart grows louder and louder. Silence means so much to me. it is kind of my physical healing, my armour and even my fetter. Only after I learned the word “SEIJAKU” from Wabi Sabi, the aesthetics of silence were revealed to me.
PROJECT CONCEPT
Silence means different curved lines to me, similar to the many curved seam lines formed by webbing in my design. These lines represent the activity of our brain when it is in the default mode network. The words that are not spoken aloud become thoughts in my mind. It is like a long line being produced indefinitely in both directions, not meeting the end in either direction, creating a soft, neat and comfortable mood.
