PROJECT BACKGROUND

The aim of this project is to design a leisure space on the lawn of the first floor of Lee Wai Lee building to add fun to our design campus and provide an area for students to relax and release stress and emotions. The design will use the natural characteristics of timber to create different spaces through arrangement, allowing light to pass through the permeability of timber to create interesting light and shadow effects, resulting in a magical space.

PROJECT CONCEPT

The purpose of this design is to provide a comfortable and soothing environment for students to gain inspiration and release stress brought by academic pressure. Through the skilful use of variations in light and shadow, the design offers a range of sensations and allows people to gain a unique emotional experience. This design not only has potential applications in schools, but also in other settings such as offices, hospitals, and even homes.
