PROJECT BACKGROUND
Project 1+1 is Fall/Winter 23/24 menswear collection and an experimental series that aims to address the loss of individual uniqueness and personal aesthetic judgment caused by the rapid development of information technology and the increasingly homogenized tastes in today's capitalist society. This series serves as a wake-up call and a satirical commentary on the erosion of people's personal aesthetic values. Additionally, the project seeks to innovate by blending traditional fabrics in a way that creates versatile clothing to change people’s aesthetics.
PROJECT CONCEPT
Thoughtfully designed garments in the series encourage wearers to confidently express their unique identities while promoting a deeper appreciation for the rich heritage of different textiles and techniques. Ultimately, Project 1+1 seeks to redefine the relationship between fashion, technology, and individuality, inspiring a new wave of creativity and self-expression in the industry.
