PROJECT BACKGROUND
One day, I noticed a broken wall, a rusty railing and a mouldy fence in the street. When the night falls, the neon light in the street casts a reflection of light and shadow against the high-rise. What I see in the night is totally different from the daytime. This is the kind of change I want to focus on as a metaphor for “changes”.
PROJECT CONCEPT
I use the scenes of the street as a metaphor for “changes” There are a lot of changes related to people, environment and technology, resulting in different scenes in the street. Changing is not anything good or bad, and any new or old changes can be accepted by the society. This is what I want to present in my collection.
