PROJECT BACKGROUND
The word “Estate“ stands for a place where a lot of people live closely together. The old public housing estates in Hong Kong have encompassed the residents’ living experience and their memories. Owing to continuous redevelopment, the collective memories in local old public housing estates are fading.
PROJECT CONCEPT
“Our Memories” is a mini exhibition for young people of Hong Kong in order to enhance their cultural sensitivity for Hong Kong's public housing culture in the past. Through better understand, I hope to maintain the residents' local culture, traditional and religious beliefs.
