PROJECT BACKGROUND
La Traviata tells the story of the tragic love between Violetta and Alfredo, a young boy who wanted to be in love with Violetta. When designing this costume, I concentrated on the design of the late 17th century and finally decided to use luxurious decoration and fabric.
PROJECT CONCEPT
Although Violetta is the main character, her costumes are not mainly in bright red, but in lighter colors. Reflecting Violetta's inner desire for love, red is supposed to be the most attractive colour. However, red is not so suitable in this case. As she is slowly recovering from a serious illness, dull pink would be a more suitable choice.
