PROJECT BACKGROUND

The community home is located at one of Iceland’s most picturesque sites, the capital of the Northern lights and a famous tourist destination. Endowed with beautiful landscapes, the site neighbours the most spectacular Lake Mývatn, Iceland’s fourth-largest body of water. Framing and bringing its beautiful views into the space is an essential part of the project.
