PROJECT BACKGROUND
The issue of childhood trauma is getting more serious in these years. The phenomenon suggested that some parents in Hong Kong may not know the proper ways to educate and raise their children. I want to do a project that helps the parents to reflect and advocate appropriate parenting.
PROJECT CONCEPT
To raise the parents’ awareness, reflection, and advocate in appropriate parenting, a series of illustration books about stories of the character Mao and his parents were created. To deliver message to the readers, each of the three stories describes a different kind of parenting method.
