As a senior’s life evolves, so does his or her emotional needs. Many seniors nowadays are facing new daily challenges .  In particular, problems such as relationship changes, social circle dwindles, and health issues all increase with age.  This project will be exploring the emotional support needs and coping strategies of family carers. While providing students with multidisciplinary knowledge about Chinese culture from a humanistic perspective and opportunities to connect with potential users, employees, and industry leaders, the design-driven startup project aims at exploring the emotional support needs of seniors and coping strategies of family carers through new possibilities for developing innovative digital products and services.  Through the project, the students will participate in entrepreneurial activities with business startup support and close supervision from project tutors and mentors.
