PROJECT BACKGROUND

Our research reveals that in view of the unfulfilled psychological needs nowadays, leisure activities are the key to compensate the dissatisfaction. Scholars and psychotherapists have shown that creative activities and mindfulness can improve well-being. By applying these two theories to fashion, hand embroidery is the critical component and channel to fulfill such needs.
