PROJECT BACKGROUND

The story of “Sea Girl” is about a love story between the King and a Sea Girl. Its comes from the classic folk tales “One thousand and One Nights”. Sea Girl lives under the deep ocean and is awaiting for her love. I chose a Jellyfish image to represent the character for its graceful figure could enhance feminine charm. In the end of the story, the King sacrifices his power as a king of a country to stay with Sea Girl and to live in the Sea Kingdom forever with his love. The costume with wired LEDs will give the jellyfish costume an iridescent look for seeking attention in deep under the sea.
