PROJECT BACKGROUND
Miniature books have very little awareness in Hong Kong. Only a few art organisations are related to the art, such as Mini Press. However, miniature books are a fun and soothing way to express oneself. The art needed more resources to develop so it can sustain and raise awareness.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The concept of Pocket Zine is to give the audience, mainly art and design lovers, a taste of the fun in mini book binding with 3 sets of DIY kits. Also, it provides further more information about book binding with the mobile app, Pocket Binder, that offers bookbinding tutorials and binding community, where people can exchange their knowledge of mini books.
