PROJECT BACKGROUND
In Hong Kong, 2% of people are affected by OCD. It is a common and chronic disorder. Unfortunately, a lot of people are lacking the knowledge of OCD and resist consulting doctors. As most OCD sufferers are perfectionists, the illness can accelerate into a repeated cycle of anxiety, compulsions and obsessions which could be both draining and painful. To promote the knowledge of OCD, I designed an OCD booth for teenagers who are OCD sufferers. The design style is based on simple graphics with imbalanced graphic elements. The booth covers three parts: reacting, understanding and knowing.
