PROJECT BACKGROUND

HKDI Interior Design students designed a co-working café for one of the Marriott hotels in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to interior design and marketing, the project focused on the overall user experience with space usage, user friendliness, innovation, aesthetics and realization efficacy — both functional and emotional aspects of the design. Marriot was very supportive by offering lecture, design critiques and insightful sharing. Students with outstanding performance were invited to present their projects to all executive managers of Marriott International in the Asia Pacific Region.
