PROJECT BACKGROUND

My character design is inspired by the Arabians' folk tales “One thousand and One Nights - Hamadryas Baboon". Baboon is a smart and humanity male monkey. And he is a good leader to guide his followers for living. But sometimes, he becomes cruel and takes a female from another's harem or will kidnap the infants’.
My design is divided into three parts. 1) Monkeyface headpiece- The mask design is a monkey skull. The headpiece shows a more evil feeling. At the end of the performance, the monkey will transform to humans, so the monkey's face can open up to quickly change the face to be human or monkey.
2) Tribal style costume – the design of the costume related to a natural style in the color brown, cream-colored, and green.
3) Scepter - It is made by hemp rope, bamboo, and tribal pattern
