PROJECT BACKGROUND

In the story “Aladdin”, Aladdin is a poor yet care-free street urchin in an Arabian city, who one day finds a lamp in a cave with a genie living inside. Regardless of who calls him out from the lamp, the genie will obey and fulfil their wishes. For the genie’s costume, I tried to make him more energetic and interesting, so I created a headgear that looks like an Arabian lamp, with lots of smoke surrounding his pants. Also, smoke flows from the lamp above his head and wraps around the character. This makes the character look more like a genie who came out of the lamp to obey his ower’s order.
