This programme is designed to enable students to work in the fashion design and product development field. Students will find the programme both practical and creative, learning through fashion shows, live projects, design competitions and an international exchange programme and working with visiting practitioners and organisations from fashion and related industries. Students will be expected to acquire design concept generation, pattern-making and fashion product sewing techniques. The Knitwear Design and Accessories Design streams provide students with a more comprehensive learning scope required by the market. This programme emphasises generic, language and communication training; whole-person development; and workplace experience to better prepare students for further studies and employment after graduation.
