PROJECT BACKGROUND
We participated in the 2020 Construction Industry Council BIM competition, mainly using Autodesk Revit software for the design process. The theme was to design dormitories for students and provide a community where they live. The aim is to increase student interaction through spatial design to strengthen community connections.
PROJECT CONCEPT
The concept refers to the "courtyard housings" in Hong Kong. The corridor surrounds the residents and forms a courtyard in the center. We apply this concept of courtyard in the student dormitory, through the design of different spaces, to strengthen the interaction between students.
