PROJECT BACKGROUND
Luen Yan Street reflects the characteristics of Tsuen Wan. Just one street but is surrounded by three different zones, including an industrial area, a newly developed residential area and an old residential area. These completely different contexts in the area constantly make this street keep changing.
PROJECT CONCEPT
This library aims to provide a public area, encourage people to communicate and explore different things. According to the site context, this library is designed with different spaces, aiming to create a balance between “public” spaces and “solitude” spaces.
