The Portrait of Architecture
PROJECT BACKGROUND
The architectural photography project "Portrait of Architecture" took about four months to finish. The process includes looking for compositions and framings, and the time required is about two hours. Each work took about an hour in post-production. The building photographed include the Murray Hong Kong Hotel, Lippo Centre, Bank of China Tower, Xiqu Center, the Palace Museum and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Jockey Club Innovation Building. There are seven photos for each building. The shootings are focused on various techniques such as capturing different angles, emphasising specific architectural lines, and showcasing the overall structural silhouette. The ultimate goal is to present the individuality and character of each building.
